SIWSSIWS Primary School

Maharashtra State Board | Grades 1 to 4

Facilities & Campus

A campus in Wadala under CCTV throughout, with an interactive panel in the classrooms and room for everything that happens outside them.

Inside a Primary classroom

A full Primary classroom of children in cream uniform with red ties and hairbands, working at wooden double desks under a high yellow-and-white wall.

Every classroom has an interactive smart panel at the front of it. Multimedia lessons and digital learning resources are used alongside the board and the exercise book rather than instead of them — a diagram can be shown moving, and then drawn.

Children sit in pairs at desks facing the front, and the teacher moves between them. It is an ordinary classroom, run by somebody who has usually been running one here for a very long time.

Around the campus

  • Smart classrooms

Interactive, technology-enabled classrooms with multimedia lessons and digital learning resources.

  • A campus under CCTV

Classrooms, corridors, entrances and common areas are all covered by the surveillance system.

  • Room for sport and the arts

Space for the sports, drawing, clay work, rangoli and group singing the section competes in through the year.

  • Years of dedication

Twenty-two teachers, many of them more than twenty years in this section — the most important thing on any campus.

How the campus is kept safe

The safety and well-being of every child is our highest priority. The entire school campus — including classrooms, corridors, entrances and common areas — is monitored through a comprehensive CCTV surveillance system to ensure a secure learning environment.

Parents and guardians are asked not to meet a child or their teacher during school hours without the prior consent of the Head Teacher. It is a rule about knowing exactly who is on the campus, and it is the reason the arrangement works.

At the school office

Certificates — date of birth, student bonafide, leaving certificate and similar — are issued between 1.00 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. only.
