What the Primary years are for
The Primary Section takes a child from Grade 1 to Grade 4 — a crucial four-year period during which reading becomes the foundation for all further learning. During these years, children develop essential skills and begin to understand and explore the world around them.
The curriculum follows the Maharashtra State Board and is aligned with NEP 2020. Learning is facilitated through activities and discussions rather than relying solely on dictation and copying.
The Primary Section is an integral part of the SIWS Group of Institutions. A child who joins in Grade 1 can continue their educational journey through Secondary School and Junior College without changing campuses, often learning alongside familiar teachers who already know the child and the family.
